We connect volunteers with practical, requested needs for seniors, homebound neighbors, veterans, and others. We serve in ways that fit your ability and schedule — and we do it as an expression of learning to follow Jesus by serving. Make a Difference is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2025 in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Helping Our Community

Make a Difference exists to help meet practical, requested needs in our community — especially for the elderly, homebound, veterans, and others who could use a hand. We do this through volunteer “opportunities” that match real needs with people willing to help, in a safe and respectful way.

Volunteers help with everyday tasks like walking dogs, mowing lawns, snow removal, and other requested help. We coordinate the opportunity details, training, and safety expectations before any action is taken.

Let’s make a positive impact together

Get involved

Anyone can volunteer — you don’t have to belong to a church. Volunteer as an individual, family, or group. Choose as many or as few opportunities as you want, and set your schedule in cooperation with the person being helped.

Opportunities: Practical help like yardwork, snow removal, walking dogs, and similar requested needs.
Flexible: You choose what you can do and when you can do it.
Team help: Some opportunities may require more than one volunteer (we’ll note it in the description).
Minors: Require parent/guardian permission and may need adult supervision.

Please note: We do not meet monetary/cash requests, and we do not accept jobs that require a license.
